The documents of the Documentation and Archives Centre are protected by copyright and they cannot be photographed or distributed with the exception of some which can be reproduced subject to these conditions:
- Prior approval from the Centre must be obtained if a user wants to photograph one or several documents and only for research purposes.
- All reproduction of documents from the Centre’s collections must be used solely for research purposes and should not be published without prior authorization from the Centre.
- References to documents from the Centre’s collections and reproduction of such documents used as part of a research project must be properly cited as follows: Author, title of document, photograph or map, date and reference number.
- A copyright notice of any photograph from the Centre’s collections must indicate: © Collection of the Documentation and Archives Centre of CHQ.
- Full reproduction of any document from the Centre’s collections is strictly forbidden.
- It is strictly forbidden to modify, alter or adapt a document from the Centre’s collections which has been reproduced or copied for research purposes.
- Any authorization for reproduction and/or photocopy of documents and/or images from the Centre’s collections is not transferable to another user or a third party.
- It is strictly forbidden to use the documents and images from the Centre’s collections in a way that will harm the Centre’s reputation or use them in a false or misleading context.
- It is strictly forbidden to use any document or photograph from the Centre’s collections for political or partisan purposes.
